Pouches

In the Edo period, people used hakoseko and tamoto-otoshi to carry kaishi, double-folded traditional Japanese paper, and cosmetics. Tamoto-otoshi consists of two pouches attached to each end of a string hanging around the neck, a convenient product allowing easy access to items from both sleeves.
